Come, have a seat. I'd like to join you, but my hind end is still a bit sore.

I'm Carly. I am a senior girl, originally from Arkansas. I moved up here with my owner. I heard people talking that he was going to a hospital and he wasn't coming back. I was given to his friend, but he traveled a lot and he decided it would be best to place me in a shelter. I was not happy there, I was very upset, afraid, and something happen to me. I got bit! It hurt.

When Great Lakes came to get me they said my entire hind end was infected, along with my tail. They had it flushed out and chunks of bacteria flushed out. I was asleep during this process, so I didn't feel anything. Also I was covered in urine, I am house trained, but the shelter didn't let me out to potty. To many dogs were in the shelter. I'm told I'm taking medicine too. And I have this nagging kennel cough, which should clear up. It is just like a cold or cough a human would get.

My foster mom says I'm a very friendly girl, I haven't had a single accident in her house. I am starting to feel much better and I am healing nicely.

I would enjoy living in a quiet home, one that isn't very active or busy.
